Kylie's new greatest hits album, Step Back in Time: The Definitive Collection, is currently at No.1 on the Official Albums Chart Update.
After a stellar set at Glastonbury Festival over the weekend, Kylie Mingoue looks set to claim her seventh UK chart title.
The Australian pop legend released her latest greatest hits album, Step Back in Time: The Definitive Collection, on June 28. Featuring plenty of hit singles, as well as the previously unreleased track 'New York City', the album looks set to debut at No.1 on the UK Albums Chart this Friday. The Official Chart Update revealed that Kylie is outselling her closest competitor, Lewis Capaldi's Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent, by more than 2:1.
The album's major success is undoubtedly due in part to Kylie's acclaimed performance on Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage over the weekend. Originally supposed to headline the festival back in 2005, she was forced to miss her slot in order to undergo treatment for breast cancer. Kylie's long-overdue, emotional set featured a star-studded cast of special guests, including Coldplay's Chris Martin for a performance of 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head', as well as Nick Cave for a run-through of their 1995 single 'Where The Wild Roses Grow'.
Step Back in Time follows Kylie's previous greatest hit albums Greatest Hits (1992), Ultimate Kylie (2004) and The Best of Kylie Minogue (2012). Stream the latest album below:
