Lana Del Rey released a teaser for the music video of the title song off her latest album, Norman Fucking Rockwell, which was released last Friday. The long-anticipated album, produced by pop mastermind Jack Antonoff, has finally been released nearly a year after the first single, 'Mariners Apartment Complex' came out.
The video, produced by Chuck Grant, opens with shaky shots of driving down the freeway in Los Angeles with her signature vintage grain and coloration that transports her back to the '60s. The shot then switches into her home, where Lana Del Rey is found behind the piano in a chambray shirt. "Goddamn man child / You fucked me so good that I almost said I love you," she croons in remorse.
As the chorus approaches, she stands up and walks outside, putting on a pair of large black sunglasses reminiscent of Jackie Onassis. Scenes of a happy couple being married and kissing reflect in her sunglasses as she continues singing her disappointment in men.
The IGTV video cuts abruptly after two minutes just before the second verse, so we'll will have to wait for what comes next. There's no official release date for the full-length video, but fans can probably expect it soon as she's been releasing music videos left and right for Norman Fucking Rockwell. Last week she released music videos for 'Fuck It I Love You' & 'The Greatest' and 'Doin' Time'. There are also videos for 'Venice Bitch' and 'Mariners Apartment Complex', the album's singles which were released last year.
