Lana Del Rey shares two new songs ahead of album release.
Fans of Lana Del Rey have been blessed with two new songs yesterday. The singer released 'Looking For America', a ballad that she wrote in the aftermath of the two mass shootings in the U.S. last weekend, as well as a track for the soundtrack of Guillermo del Toro's new movie Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.
On Tuesday, Del Rey shared a video of her singing 'Looking For America' on Instagram, writing: "I know I'm not a politician and I'm not trying to be, so excuse me for having an opinion, but in light of all of the mass shootings and the back to back shootings in the last couple of days, which really affected me on a cellular level, I just wanted to post this video, that our engineer Laura took 20 minutes ago. I hope you like it."
Now the song, which she wrote with singer and producer Jack Antonoff, is officially out. Listen to the full track down below:
Last weekend, there were two mass shootings in the United States; one in El Paso, Texas (at least 22 killed) and one in Dayton, Ohio (at least 10 killed).
