The pop sensation’s album was supposed to drop yesterday, July 4th.
Lana Del Rey shared the cover art for her latest album Blue Banisters and teased a brand new song on Instagram yesterday.
The cover art, whic she shared on social media features the singer barefoot in a yellow dress flanked by her two German Shepherds, Tex and Mex. The 36 year old captioned the post ‘TBD’ as her album was supposed to drop on July 4th, Independence Day.

Lana Del Rey, whose real name is Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, also shared a snippet from a song on social media and captioned the post, “Album out later… Single out soonish. Have a good fourth x.” The video features her singing over a soft piano driven track.

The ‘Summertime Sadness’ singer announced her album in April and released the title track on May 20th. She also released ‘Text Book’ which she wrote with Gabriel Edward Simon and ‘Wildflower Wildfire’ which was co-written by Kanye West and Mike Dean on the same day.
Blue Banisters follows up her last album Chemtrails Over The Country Club which she shared in March. It is the 8th studio album from the New York born artist since her eponymous debut. In July 2020, she released her spoken word album, Violet Bent Backwards Over The Grass.
