The visualizer for 'Blue Banisters' features Lana atop a John Deere tractor
Lana Del Rey has released a new music video for 'Blue Banisters' right before the release of her album of the same name.
The video features the acclaimed artist singing on top of a John Deere tractor and painting banisters at a high-end countryside estate in a literal interpretation of the track's lyrics.
There have been four singles from Blue Banisters released, which will be Lana Del Rey's second LP of 2021 after March's Chemtrails Over the Country Club.
She released the much-anticipated follow-up to Norman Fucking Rockwell! to much fanfare earlier this year and was described by Hot Press as her "stripping back most of her trademark grandeur for something decidedly more introspective and intimate."
In a review full of praise, Hot Press' Lucy O'Toole giving particular attention to a cover of Joni Mitchell's 'For Free' featuring Weyes Blood and Zella Day at the end of the record.
"It's a fitting closing track, as a poignant reflection on the isolation of stardom - penned by someone who knew the reality only too well, and given new life by Lana at her most captivatingly contemplative," she wrote.
