There's no word on a release date yet, but Lankum posted a picture behind music's most famed desk.
Lankum will perform an intimate live set as part of NPR's famed Tiny Desk Concert series.
The Dublin folk group posted a photo today on Twitter behind the most iconic desk in music today, with the caption "Just about to do a Tiny Desk concert..." The concert series, which began in 2008, invites artists to perform in a unique and intimate setting at NPR's Washington D.C. offices. Artists, ranging from smaller newcomers to juggernauts like Taylor Swift, often perform stripped-down and reworked sets.
It's a big week for them, as they just won the prestigious RTÉ's Choice Music Album of the Year award for The Livelong Day. They won against stiff competition from Fontaines D.C., Daithí, Junior Brother, Jafaris, Mick Flannery, Maija Sofia, SOAK, Sorcha Richardson and Girl Band.
Lankum are currently on a U.S. tour and will return to Ireland for a gig at the Cork Opera House on March 17.
