Marling also announced intimate New York and London live residencies to support the album's launch.
Laura Marling has announced her new LP, Patterns in Repeat, out on October 25. The first single off the record, ‘Patterns’ is streaming now.
Written, recorded, and produced by Marling in her London home studio, Patterns in Repeat will be the BRIT award winner’s 8th album.
In a statement, Marling described the album as a reflection on family, as writing coincided with the birth of her daughter.
Initially believing her songwriting would need to be postponed, Marling described how delighted she was to "discover that for the first few months of a baby's life, you can bounce them in a bouncer and play guitar all day."
“For the first time in my life, I was able to gaze into another human's eyes as I wrote.”

To support the new album’s release, Marling has announced a series of intimate live performances, in London’s Hackney Church, and New York’s Bowery Ballroom.
The Hackney Church performances will take place from October 29- November 2, while the Bowery Ballroom shows will be November 11-12.
Debuting in 2008 with Alas I Cannot Swim, Marling's 15 year career has seen her succeed as a solo artist, as well as in her work with Mark Lindsay as a part of Lump.
