The single’s release comes with the announcement that Le Boom will headline The Olympia Theatre this October
It's a good day for Irish Music.
It’s hard to believe that the trio are not long-time collaborators as they frolic through Stoneybatter in perfectly choreographed unison in the music video for their new single. Coupling the uplifting vocals of Æ Mak’s Aoife McCann with the energetic synths and infectious rhythm of Le Boom’s electronic duo are a match made in electronic heaven.
Leech, Mallon and McCann, accompanied by a colourful entourage of dancers, bounce through the streets of Dublin’s Stoneybatter in perfectly synchronised movements. It’s impossible to listen to ‘Dancing Bug’ without becoming one and the positive, catchy lyrics amplify the spontaneous, carefree sound of the track.
The single comes with the announcement that Le Boom will play their biggest headline gig to date in the Olympia Theatre on October 11. The duo will also be playing dates in Belfast, Limerick and Derry throughout the month of October.
