The British broadcaster will appear at the Dublin venue to discuss his strange life and career
Old Grey Whistle Test presenter, BBC Radio 1 DJ and former Billy Bragg’s roadie Andy Kershaw is to host a unique presentation of his life and work as a journalist at Dublin's The Grand Social.
The event is billed as an 'intimate two hour audio visual presentation', which will be followed by a Q&A with the broadcaster.
Kershaw was discovered by a producer as he was chaperoning musician Billy Bragg to BBC’s Whistle Test. He was presenter on the music series for a year before becoming a host on BBC Radio 1 for 15. There, he was renowned for his eclectic musical tastes.
A topic which will no doubt be addressed at the event will be the broadcaster's travels.
Kershaw has been to North Korea three times and became the first person to make a documentary inside the secretive state.

Kershaw will also be performing a DJ set the following night (July 14) at the same venue. Tickets for that are €5.
