Leonard Cohen tops the Irish charts with You Want it Darker
Master of morbidity climbs to number 1
As Friday comes to an end, we take a look at the Irish music charts, where Leonard Cohen's album You Want it Darker is at number 1. The Canadian singer, songwriter, poet, and novelist who just reached his 82nd birthday last month, released his fourteenth album on October 21. Having received the prestigious Princess of Asturias Award for literature in 2011, he is no stranger to honours.
Trailing behind Cohen are Michael Buble (another Canadian singer) with Nobody But Me, and Lady Gaga's much anticipated Joanne. Kings of Leon stand in the top 5 for their second week on the charts with their album Walls.
