Let It All Go Home
As banjo-led folk pop goes, it doesn't get more Irish than 'Let It All Go Home', the debut single from dreamy Limerick fivesome Birdthistle. While everything from the winding, shoopsome chorus to the closing scene in the music video pay homage to fellow alt. folk peddlers Mumford And Sons, the Birdthistle sound is subtler, sweeter and benefits from more traditional influences. Listen up for a mean bodhrán solo towards the end.
