The National Theatre Of Scotland is bringing its production of the horror to The Abbey Theatre.
Following runs in Scotland, London and the USA, 'Let the Right One In' comes to the Abbey Theatre, as the centrepiece of the 2017 winter season.
The production features a new Irish cast and runs from 18 November 2017 – 6 January 2018.
The creative team behind the production includes Tony and Olivier award-winning director John Tiffany and two-time BAFTA Award-winning writer Jack Thorne, who are also the creators of 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child'.
Fresh from his Abbey debut in smash hit Jimmy’s Hall Craig Connolly plays lonely Oskar, with Katie Honan playing Eli –the centuries-old but eternally young vampire. They will be joined by Richard Clements, Nick Dunning, Gavin Fullam, Jamie Hallahan, Tommy Harris, Bob Kelly and Ruth McGill.
The production features movement direction by Steven Hoggett, original music by BAFTA Award-winning Icelandic composer Ólafur Arnalds, set design by Tony Award-winner Christine Jones, lighting design by Chahine Yavroyan, sound design by Olivier Award-winner Gareth Fry and special effects design by Jeremy Chernick.
Tickets for teens are €13. 'Let the Right One' In is part of the Abbey Theatre’s Free First Preview initiative, where audiences are invited to attend the first preview of Abbey Stage productions at no charge. People can queue for a free ticket for Let the Right One In on 18 November, or buy a ticket from €13-€45 to other performances during the run. The first three performances are sold out, with others selling fast.
