Regional heats for the Found @ Thirst DJ search will take place this week, in Limerick, Cork and Dublin.

Now in its second year, the competition offers Ireland’s best bedroom DJ the opportunity to strut their stuff in Cork and beyond.

The victor will play alongside Tiesto, Pete Tong and Daniele Davoli at the Thirst II party which takes place at Cork’s Savoy on October 11.

The Thirst World Tour will then make it way through Asia, and North and South America before returning to Europe in 2004, with Ireland’s finalist playing in any one of the "exotic" locations. He or she will also be given the opportunity to record their mix in a top London studio. Sounds pret-ty damn cool.

Dublin 26/9 @ The Vault Bar, Connolly Station
Cork 26/9 @ Rafters Nightclub

The final will be judged by a panel that includes Tiesto, Daniele Davoli and Robbie Butler.
