The never-ending feud between Liam and Noel Gallagher has reached new heights in the last few days. Yesterday afternoon, the younger Oasis brother apologised to his mother and his niece Anais Gallagher for dragging them into the latest phase of the feud.

Over the weekend, Noel Gallagher's wife Sara Macdonald called her brother-in-law a "fat twat" on social media, stating that she won't attend Liam's Glastonbury set. Yesterday Noel released screenshots of messages his brother apparently sent to his daughter Anais, threatening her mother "to be very careful".

As a response to the published message, Liam Gallagher posted a statement on Twitter, writing: "My sincere apologies to my beautiful mum Peggy and my lovely niece Anais for getting caught up in all of this childish behaviour. I love you both dearly, LG x".
