The 46-year-old rock icon is set to release his documentary, entitled As It Was, in late 2019. The film follows Gallagher’s time in Beady Eye, the band he formed following his years in Oasis, as well as his rise as a solo artist.
The threat of legal action comes after Liam praised the final cut of the documentary last week.
Neither Noel nor his representatives have made a public comment in response.
In addition to the upcoming film, Liam is set to return to the stage this summer. The singer will tour across Europe, with a show at Irish Independent Park in Cork on 23rd June.
After releasing his solo debut As You Were in 2017, Gallagher has been in the studio working on the follow-up which is due to arrive later in 2019.
