Fans are now contemplating the possibility of a reunion.
Oasis fans began to speculate last night after Liam Gallagher appeared to confirm, in a tweet, that he had patched up his differences with brother Noel.
Liam delighted fans after he claimed that he had “reached out” to his older brother to settle their lengthy feud.
Breaking the news to his two million followers he tweeted: “I wanna say Happy Xmas to team NG it’s been a great year thanks for everything looking forward to seeing you tomorrow AS YOU WERE LG x (sic).”
Asked by a fan if he will have a meltdown if Noel doesn’t get in touch, he replied: “He's already reached out.”

Liam's tweets come after he admitted in an interview with Fault that he missed his brother, saying: “I don’t want to be solo. I don’t want to do it on my own – I’m not a guitar player or a prolific songwriter.
