Oasis singer Liam Gallagher has received a PETA award for his adoption of a rescue dog in Thailand, named Buttons Gallagher. PETA presented Liam with this year's 'Strike the Right Chord for Animals Award' for his efforts to raise awareness around animal adoption.
Liam said in a statement that,"Rescuing Buttons has been the best decision we’ve ever made,” explaining that, “She brings so much happiness to our lives and everyone she meets. We’re so lucky to have her. We’re obsessed. I thoroughly recommend adopting a homeless dog.”
