The news is sending Shockwaves through the former Oasis front man's steadfast following.
It's been two years since the release of Liam Gallagher’s debut solo album As You Were, which featured the outstanding tune ‘Wall of Glass’. LG fans have been patiently waiting for a follow up album and, judging from Mancunian’s latest Instagram posts, their patience is being rewarded.
Liam Gallagher shared a photograph of a billboard in Manchester that celebrated Man City’s treble victory and read, “It’s coming round like a Shockwave - Liam Gallagher”, accompanied by the caption “MCFC what a fucking football team LG x.”
While the lyric has not been confirmed as of yet, it has been heavily speculated that ‘Shockwave’ may be the first single released from Liam Gallagher’s upcoming album, which is expected to be released at some point this year. Liam took to Twitter to confirm that his second solo album is all ready to go.

Liam Gallagher will be taking to the stage of Irish Independent Park in Cork on Sunday, June 23 with support provided by ‘Belter’ singer, Gerry Cinnamon.
