Liam Gallagher has been teasing that he is returning to the world of music. He has tweeted that "lots of exciting things are happening" and it seems its "time to get back in the ring".

Gallagher has not released any new material since Beady Eye's BE record in 2013. The group subsequently split in 2014. This comes in stark contrast to earlier tabloid rumours about the Manchurian allegedly retiring from music.
In March The Sun reported that Gallagher told a fan, "I am retired now". Prior to this report Gallagher ruled out any possibility of going solo like his brother and former bandmate, Noel.

Oasis split up in 2009. Liam went on to form Beady Eye and release two records with the band while Noel has gone to enjoy a successful solo career. Noel also said recently it would cost £20 million to see him perform with the band again.
