In the run-up to Your Roots Are Showing – Ireland's newest and largest annual folk, roots and traditional music conference, running from January 22-26 in Four Seasons Hotel and Leisure Club, Coolshannagh in Co. Monaghan – delegates, speakers, panellists, and more special guests continue to be unveiled.
Those in attendance at the conference will include festival directors, folk DJs, managers, agents, labels, performers' rights organisations, funders, music supervisors and more, offering plenty of opportunities for showcasing, discovery and networking.
Over the past few months, Your Roots Are Showing Conference have revealed more details about the event on their social media platforms – announcing that their delegates for the 2023 conference will include acclaimed artists Liam Ó Maonlaí, John Spillane and Clare Sands, among many others.

The conference includes programming for people at various stages of their career, from emerging to export-ready. Your Roots Are Showing will also host discussion panels, highlighting the impact of the Irish language, folklore, and storytelling on music and songwriting.
The aim of the event to preserve and advance Ireland's indigenous culture for future generations – will also inviting musicians from around the world to discuss how their cultures and stories are impacted by their music.
