Written by Carl Barât and Peter Doherty, 'Oh Shit' is the fourth single to be lifted from All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade.
English garage rock band The Libertines have today dropped the latest track off their upcoming album All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade, titled 'Oh Shit'.
The recent Hot Press interviewees latest single has been described by the band as 'an earworm anthem for these economically challenging times' and 'quite possibly the most Libertines single ever'.
Making good use of Carl Barat's famed strings and Pete Doherty's lyrical prowess 'Oh Shit' is nothing short of an anthemic garage rock banger.
All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade marks the influential indie rock group's fourth studio album and promises to hit the shops on April 5.
Previous songs off the upcoming record include lead single 'Run Run Run', 'Night of the Hunter' and 'Shiver'.

The Libertines’ 2024 UK/Ireland tour all but sold out within hours of being announced - faster than any previous tours in their history. To cater for the unprecedented demand, a third and final night has been added at Manchester’s Albert Hall on Saturday November 9, announced today.
The two Irish headliners taking place at Dublin's Olympia Theatre on September 23 and Belfast's Telegraph building on September 24 are both sold out.
Speaking to Hot Press, Pete Doherty and Carl Barât- the corner stones of The Libertines, the pair told Stuart Clarke about the process of making the upcoming LP in Jamaica: 'The reason we went to Jamaica and made this record is a song called 'Mustang', which started with Carl strumming these chords backstage at a Libertines Gig".
Continuing Doherty said: 'That was the spark really, once I got my claws into 'Mustang' we cracked on and the results were fruitful".
All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade is out April 5 2024.
