Now the most-streamed new artist in Ireland, her Dublin date on April 19 was upgraded from Sound House to The Grand Social.
Lilla Vargen has released a new single titled 'Cold,' fresh off a European tour with Dermot Kennedy. Her upcoming Dublin tour date on April 19 has also been upgraded from Sound House to The Grand Social.
'Cold' showcases Lilla's stunning vocals over crisp production, cementing her status as a must-watch artist this year. Speaking on the track, she says:
“‘Cold’ is about realising that you’re settling for less than you deserve in a relationship and having the courage to confront your partner. I’ve felt at fault in the past, and trapped in a situation that deep down I knew I needed to move away from. This song is me coming to terms with that, and deciding to make positive change.”
2020 is set to be a big year for the Northern Irish artist. Her recently released EP We Were Thunder was met with critical acclaim, many praising her vocals and songwriting.
Her support slot for Dermot Kennedy saw her play for over 100,000 people in the past few months alone. The 20 million streams that she has racked up make her the most streamed new artist in Ireland right now.
