Her voice drips with emotion in the track, already a fan-favourite staple of her live set.
Rising star Lilla Vargen has shared the studio version of 'Love You Twice', a song that's already become fan-favourite staple of her live shows.
The song showcases her voice's raw power. Each word drips with emotion as she yearns for a past love, reflecting on a romance that could have been more and the strength it takes to accept there's no going back. Subtle instrumentation and top-notch production from MyRiot (London Grammar, Halsey) gives her room to shine.
“I wrote this song in my room on my guitar about a year ago. Love You Twice is about having a second chance with someone and trying to find the common ground that you build that relationship on. I put it in my live set towards the end of last year and it always got a beautiful reaction, so I’m really excited to share the studio version with everyone,” Vargen says.
Hailing from Ballymena, Vargen's been on the rise with a slew of strong singles and two EPs, which have racked up an astonishing 20 million+ streams. Her talent has been picked up by BBC Radio 1, Spotify's New Music Friday playlists and a touring slot alongside Dermot Kennedy.

Though her headline tour has been rescheduled to October (with gigs in London and Dublin moved to bigger venues, and the addition of a show in Belfast), she’s found other ways to showcase her remarkable ability as a live performer. She recently shared live-streamed sessions with tmrw and Mahogany, and also unveiled a stunning acapella take on 'Cold' which was recorded pre-lockdown at the Brompton Chapel with the London Contemporary Voices choir.
