US nu-metal legends Limp Bizkit have announced a headline show at Ormeau Park, Belfast on Wednesday 12 June 2024.
The band will be touring with some of their biggest ever UK shows, having released their most recent album Still Sucks in 2021.
Led by Fred Durst, the Floridian rockers rose to fame in the late '90s and with their aggressive and often humorous take on hip-hop rock, sharing massive hits like 'Break Stuff' and 'Rollin (Air Raid Vehicle)'.
Renowned for their raucous live shows, the controversial nu-metal pioneers have often divided opinion in the past.
“I don’t believe in grey areas, it’s all black and white. I either believe in it or I don’t. Limp Bizkit just happen to be one of those bands who aren’t living in a grey area, you either love it or you hate it," said Durst in a 2006 interview with Hot Press. "We’re happy that we can be hated and loved, to get the full spectrum of feelings and the fact that we’re a band that a lot of people in the media and a lot of critics like to take stabs at because of how we present ourselves or what we do.
“It’s kind of good therapy for us, it makes us feel sympathy for these human beings and makes us care about them even more. It makes me feel sad for these people; I mean, if you don’t like it just leave it alone. I believe we’re doing something right if everybody’s talking and I understand that with the good comes the bad. I think it’s very cool that people even give a shit.”
