Tickets for the November festival are available now
The line-up has been revealed for the upcoming Prima Volta Weekender – coming to iconic Limerick spaces like The Record Room, Downbeat Records, Wickham Way and Starling Gallery from Friday, November 22, to Sunday, November 24.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of Prima Volta, which initially emerged as part of the Limerick City of Culture 2014 programme. Since then, the festival has evolved in many ways – but it continues to provide a crucial platform to emerging Irish talent, with a particular emphasis on hip-hop, jazz, and beat-orientated music.
This year's edition, presented in association with Limerick City and County Council, features the likes of Wastefellow, Hazey Haze, Celaviedmai, Negro Impacto, Cooks But We're Chefs, Roots Factory, Eva Keyes, Brigadier JC, Jonezy, Frankie Downbeat and more.
In addition to the gigs, there will be free workshops running during the day.
There will also be a free reggae show on the Sunday, curated by Downbeat Records – a recently opened record store in Limerick – featuring Limerick's own Roots Factory crew and RiseUp SoundSystem.
