The festival will take place from August 24 and 25.
Smithfield Fleadh has announced the line-up for their 2024 edition, taking place on August 24 and 25 from 12 to 6 pm.
The festival’s third edition will include several traditional Irish music acts, including the much beloved Gaylí and Fingal Mummers.
Closing on Saturday will be Paddy Keenan of The Bothy Band, alongside Aoife Ní Bhriain, Daoirí Farrell, and Eoghan Ó Ceannabháin headlining the Main Stage, while Frankie Gavin and Dé Dannan will finish off the festival on Sunday night.
The Cobblestone Tent, curated by musicians of The Cobblestone Pub in Smithfield, is set to return for both days of the event. Also making a comeback this year is An Staítín Fánach, which provides a platform for young musicians to showcase their talent.

Finally, An Puball Éigse will make another appearance, offering harp and bodhrán workshops, as well as a performance from Ceol Connected and a special ITMA conversation featuring Caitlín Nic Gabhann and Ciarán Ó Maonaigh.
Commenting on the event, Lord Mayor of Dublin James Geoghegan said, “I'm delighted to see the return of the Dublin City Council Smithfield Fleadh this year. This year's festival is a fantastic opportunity for families to experience the joy of Irish traditional music completely free of charge.
“With engaging workshops, lively sessions, and energetic performances throughout the weekend, there's something for everyone to enjoy and create lasting memories in the heart of Smithfield Square.”
