Tickets to see 'An Evening with Lisa Hannigan and Friends' at Vicar Street are €40 and go on sale this Friday 6th September at 10am via Ticketmaster.
Following her sold-out collaboration with the Irish Arts Centre in New York this year, Lisa Hannigan is bringing her lauded production home with an extra special Vicar St show on 25 November and at Belfast's Mandela Hall the following night, with support from Dani Larkin for both nights.
The performance will feature a reimagining of Lisa's sweeping discography and marks her first major headline show since the release of Live in Dublin in 2019.
Tickets for 'An Evening with Lisa Hannigan and Friends' goes on sale this Friday, 6 September, at 10am via Ticketmaster.
For her residency at the Irish Arts Centre in NYC earlier this year, Lisa surrounded herself with a "veritable dream team" of musicians including Theodora Byrne (vocals), Yuki Numata Resnick (violin) and Clarice Jensen (cello), Karen Cowley (Krea) (vocals), and Jane Patterson (vocals). The experience of working with the Theodora Byrne Ensemble lockdown project on Theo's vocal arrangement of Lisa's 'We the Drowned' set off the idea of arranging the her songs in a new and different way. Soon, others followed and thus the ensemble was born.

They had just one day in New York for an immersive rehearsal to create an entirely new show with four performances in total, each totally different in their set list.
“The show grew in character, content and confidence every night,” says Lisa, “like an immersive life rehearsal with an intimate audience of friends. The power of time and space to create was evident and felt by everyone performing and experiencing these songs in such a beautiful empathetic setting. I am delighted to be bringing this show back home to to recreate some of the magic that we did in New York.”
