U2 designer contributes to album by the Ross O’Carroll-Kelly actress.
February 6 sees the release of the debut solo album from Lisa Lambe. Recorded in Nashville with producer Gavin Murphy, Hiding Away's album design also comes from famed U2 collaborator Steve Averill.
Lambe has earned a name for herself starring in successful theatrical productions at home and around Europe, including The Wiremen in The Gaiety Theatre and Sweeney Todd in The Gate. Her turn in Rough Magic musical Improbably Frequency earned her a Best Supporting Actress Award at the Irish Times Theatre Awards and she has been praised for her role as "Sorcha" in three Ross O'Carroll-Kelly plays.
In terms of singing, Lambe has toured the world with Celtic Woman and featured as a soloist in the RTÉ Concert Orchestra.
