The EP comes as an acoustic compilation of fan favourite songs from her latest album Watch Me.
Hot on the heels of an extraordinarily successful 2023, Ireland’s favourite country-pop artist Lisa McHugh has announced the release of her new acoustic EP Black Mountain Sessions, out May 17th.
Composed of fan-favourite songs from her recent album Watch Me alongside an exciting Harry Styles cover, the new release comes paired with stunning live video sessions from Black Mountain Studios in The Cooley Mountains of Louth. An intimate, stripped back collection, the EP showcases McHugh’s vibrant sound and pitch-perfect vocals atop a bed of intricate guitar work, each track accompanied by a video to be released via social media in the coming weeks.

As her global status continues to rise, with her latest album debuting at No. 3 on the Irish Independent Album Chart and residing in the Top 5 of the UK country Music Album Chart for five consecutive weeks, McHugh further cements her standing as a force to be reckoned with.

Over the course of 2023, the Scottish songstress has amassed over 25 million streams across digital platforms along with a wealth of radio support at home and abroad. She has also been seen supporting American singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw on his recent UK tour and co-hosting the Irish Post Awards alongside Eamonn Holmes.
The coming months will see McHugh blossom in a flurry of new music and live performances. With the first single from Black Mountain Sessions set to hit streaming on 19th April, the Scotland-native is gearing up to embark on a short Irish tour, with stops in Wexford, Omagh, and Belfast.
