Although the video of the performance has yet to be posted online, photographer Anthony Mulcahy has shared some behind-the-scenes shots of the Irish singer-songwriter's Tiny Desk Concert.
Following the release of her acclaimed album, All Of This Is Chance, earlier this year, Lisa O'Neill has recorded a performance for NPR Music's renowned online video series, Tiny Desk – filmed at the desk of presenter Bob Boilen in Washington D.C.
The Cavan-raised, Dublin-based singer-songwriter is currently touring the U.S., having kicked off a run of dates there at the end of April. She has two shows remaining on the tour – Largo at Los Angeles on May 11, and the Swedish American Hall in San Francisco on May 13.
Lisa's latest album scored a nine-star review in Hot Press following its released in February, with Will Russell describing it as "a breathtaking and incredible record" – featuring "gems to be long sung in the cozy parlours of Shercock, the back-rooms of Kilburn and the bars of Woodlawn..."
Although the video of her Tiny Desk Concert has not yet been posted online, photographer Anthony Mulcahy – who originally hails from Co. Waterford, and is now based in the U.S. – has shared shots of the performance on Instagram.
"I always burst with pride when I see Irish musicians behind Bob's desk," he captioned the post. "It's such an iconic space and an incredible platform for artists to perform at. Lisa's new record All Of This Is Chance is a masterpiece and this was simply a stunning performance."
