She’s back.

BANKS’ new tune ‘Gimme’ features the artist’s ethereal vocals floating over sultry, electrifying synths. In true BANKS fashion, the song contains a haunting quality while being entirely catchy.

In a statement, the electronic singer revealed that the song is about getting what you want. “It’s about knowing what you deserve, saying it out loud, and demanding it with no apologies. I’m ready to release this into the world and begin a new chapter.”

This single is BANKS’ first release since her 2017 single ‘Underdog’. Prior to this, the artist released ‘Crowded Places’, which featured in the final season of Lena Dunham’s series Girls.

A full album is expected some time in 2019 since BANKS revealed in an interview with Marie Claire Italia that she had recorded nearly 45 songs for her next project. Watch this space.
