The band are launching the EP with a live-streamed gig tonight.
Blurring the boundaries between pop, soul, jazz and funk, Blueberry Rouge have marked themselves as a thrilling new force in Irish music with the release of their self-titled debut EP – out today.
Blueberry Rouge, made up of Jennifer Waters (Pittsburgh, USA), Ronan Friel (Co. Donegal) and Ryan O’Neill (Carlow), began playing together for open-mic nights in colleges – before crafting their own unique, self-produced sound, while simultaneously drawing influence from the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Wonder and Bill Withers.
To celebrate the release of their debut EP, the band have announced a live-streamed gig, The End of the Evening – taking place on their Facebook page tonight, October 30, at 7.30pm.
The End of the Evening will create a new level of interaction with viewers on Facebook Live, with pre-recorded, remote performances filmed during the current Level 5 restrictions. Viewers' interaction will dictate the flow of the gig – from the release of exclusive music premieres to special guest performances.
