The first new music from Bobbi Arli in 2022 is here.
One of Ireland's rising pop stars, Bobbi Arlo, shared her brand new single 'Parasite' yesterday.
The track is her first single of 2022 and the latest song since last year's 'Fever Thoughts'.
"Parasite was the result of one of my first ever collaborative writing sessions," she said of the track.
"I wrote the song with UK songwriter Mikey Gormley who came across my music on Spotify's New Music UK playlist. We worked with my producer Adam Shanahan and created a dark break up song that has a relatable common thread, and that's a love you can't really escape from but want to because it simply sucks the life out of you aka a parasitic love."
It was recently announced that Bobbi Arlo will play Mardi Gras, presented by Hot Press and Southern Comfort, at Lost Lane in Dublin on Tuesday, March 1.
Headlined by Booka Brass, the event will feature many other fine acts and you can apply for tickets to the night here.

Bobbi spoke to Hot Press back in August last year about returning to gigs, saying that she "couldn't wait for live music to come back!"
"I haven't done a lot of live shows, but I'm ready to show off my new music and play it for people who have supported me for the last year and a half," she said at the time.
"I'm honestly excited to see how people react to hearing my tunes live and see how much joy it brings, because that in turn makes me happy."
