Fontaines D.C., Michael Stipe, St. Vincent, and more are also set to feature on the tribute album for the iconic American band and German singer.
Courtney Barnett has released her cover of The Velvet Underground and Nico's 'I'll Be Your Mirror.' The track will be on I'll Be Your Mirror: A Tribute to The Velvet Underground & Nico, which is set to be released September 24 via Verve.
The tribute album was announced in July and will feature artists like Fontaines D.C., Michael Stipe, St. Vincent, and Iggy Pop. See the full tracklist below.
Barnett's cover is a stripped back version of 'I'll Be Your Mirror.' It is the third track from the record to be released, following Kurt Vile's cover of 'Run Run Run' and Matt Berninger of The National's cover of 'I'm Waiting For The Man.'
Barnett has also announced her forthcoming third album, Things Take Time, Take Time. It will be released November 12, and its tracks 'Rae Street' and 'Before You Go' are out now.
