The new track from Dublin rapper sees Damola experimenting with his vocals and demonstrating a new approach to mixing and mastering.
Today, Dublin rapper Damola drops his latest single, 'Critical'. On the track, Damola describes his journey as a musical artist and expresses his desire to win going forward. That desire to conquer is depicted in a manner that is reminiscent of warfare. It's a tale of mankind's desire for power recounted over an experimental trap instrumental.
The track sees the Dublin rapper experimenting with his vocals and demonstrating a new approach to mixing and mastering. 'Critical' is off Damola's forthcoming EP, SAFE, which is set for release on 22 November. This is the second single off SAFE, following the summer release of 'Gave Myself'.
After emerging in the scene in 2008, Damola has become of the most convincing voices in the Irish hip-hop boom. After a string of well-received singles, the Dublin rapper is back with a brand new single ‘Gave Myself’.
