Hot Press favourite ELLYD is back with a brilliant new single 'On My Way', a pristine pop ballad that again confirms her status as one of Ireland's best young singer-songwriters. Having enjoyed an iTunes top ten hit with previous offering 'Ghosts', the Dublin singer is set for more chart action with her latest track.

"It's been a while since I released anything, so I'm really excited about putting this new single out," Elly enthuses. "The support I've received over the last few years has been really heart-warming and I hope people like this one too."

The track explores the feeling of working through internal struggles, a topic sure to resonate in the Covid era.

"There are times I just bury my head in the sand ignoring important things I shouldn't and expect that they'll just magically work out," says Elly of the song's theme. "The song is about that and also about hoping that the world will wait for me until I drag my head out and catch up."
