Iggy Pop and Matt Sweeney have released 'European Son,' their cover of the Velvet Underground track.

The single will appear on I'll Be Your Mirror: A Tribute to the Velvet Underground & Nico, a tribute album for the iconic American rock band and German singer. The record will be available September 24.

"The Velvet Underground were rock and roll's finest band," said Sweeney of the track. "Iggy Pop remains rock and roll's greatest singer. I am thrilled and humbled that the joyous experience of getting deeply nasty with Iggy on 'European Son' can be heard by lifelong VU fans and newcomers."

'European Son' is the fourth single to be released from the upcoming tribute album. Last month, Courtney Barnett released her cover of 'I'll Be Your Mirror,' which followed the releases of Kurt Vile's 'Run Run Run' and Matt Berninger of the National's 'I'm Waiting For The Man.'

Fontaines D.C., Michael Stipe, St. Vincent, and more are also set to appear on the record.
