The Compton musician shares his first solo work since 2017's Steve Lacy's Demo.
It's been two years since Steve Lacy shared any new solo music, but the Internet member is back with a brand new single, 'N Side'.
His first EP, the critically acclaimed Steve Lacy's Demo, was recorded largely on his iPhone, and was released in February 2017. He's since been kept busy as a key member of R&B group the Internet, who released their latest album, Hive Mind in 2018, and played an incendiary show at Dublin's Olympia Theatre in March.
Lacy has also racked up producer credits on projects with the likes of Solange, Kali Uchis, Mac Miller, Tyler, the Creator, Blood Orange, YG and Ravyn Lenae. He was featured on Vampire Weekend's single 'Sunflower', and appeared in the Jonah Hill-directed music video, alongside Ezra Koenig, Jerry Seinfeld and Fab 5 Freddy.
Earlier this week, the Internet took to Twitter to tease the imminent arrival of two solo albums:
