Having already found success with the band Hermitage Green and touring sold-out shows right across the globe, Darragh Griffin launched solo project FIGR.
FIGR has shared a brand new track 'Hey Hey' alongside Fox Jaw's Ronan Mitchell.
The track is taken from the solo artist's debut EP 'Go Figr', which was released last Friday, June 4th.
Hailing from Limerick, FIGR sees self-produced multi-instrumentalist Darragh Griffin pave new routes for himself following his hugely successful stint as part of Irish folk-rock outfit Hermitage Green.
The band toured sold-out gigs at some of the most iconic venues in the Middle East, Australia, North America, United Kingdom and Ireland. The five-piece celebrated ten years of success last year – during which thousands of people have gathered to see them at iconic music venues and festivals.
Since the release of their first EP, Gold & Rust, in 2017, the band has shared the stage with artists such as Lewis Capaldi, Bastille, Two Door Cinema Club, Tom Odell, Gavin James and Sigrid. Their most recent single, 'West Broadway Girl', dropped in October 2020.
FIGR is solo project in which Griffin wrote, recorded and produced all the tracks in Clare. 'Go Figr' features a different vocalist on each track, creating a unique and original sound.

'Hey Hey' is a laidback, down-tempo number incorporating a range of background instruments and genres. The hypnotic track explores themes of life's monotony without creativity, self-reflection, and taking your chance to branch out while you can.
Ronan Mitchell's input is noticeable, with the experienced musician gaining fame as part of Limerick rock band Fox Jaw - who have celebrated over 10 years together.
