Treaty City four-piece Lost Boys are back with a fun new jam.
One of Limerick's hottest musical prospects, Lost Boys have released their third single of the year - titled 'We Don't Need to Talk'.
Fresh from their last track, 'Weak' and debut EP Honey Mustard (featuring lovely single 'Sadie'), this new bass-driven track showcases the band's ability to effortlessly blend genres.
"'We Don’t Need To Talk' was the ideal opportunity to use everything I have learned about production to take this track to the next level," says drummer Patrick O'Donnell.
"The house-inspired drums and funky, in your face bass line, make this song the perfect portrayal of the sound we have been striving for."
Predominantly written by one of the band's vocalists, Peader Story, he says the track is about the "frustration that can be felt when you are not on the same page as someone you love.

"You find yourself falling over each other, not knowing what to do but simultaneously knowing that you are out of sync. The glossy upbeat nature of the song reflects this confusion and frustration."
An excellent follow-up to 2020's more rock-centric single 'Gemini', the lads continue to display why there's such a buzz about them.
