The 'Worst of You' singer was signed to Ed Sheeran's label, Gingerbread Records, earlier this year.
Sussex pop singer Maisie Peters has just debuted another single from her upcoming album You Signed Up For This, set to hit streaming platforms on August 27th. 'Volcano' follows the release of two other tracks, 'John Hughes Movie' and 'Psycho', one of the three tracks on the album co-written by Ed Sheeran.
Since her first music release in 2017, the 21-year-old singer's songs have amassed half a billion streams worldwide, garnering the attention of Taylor Swift (for her cover of 'Betty') and a spot on Niall Horan's 'Nice to Meet Ya' world tour – before it was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Her songs 'Favourite Ex' and 'Feels Like This' were also featured on Love Island's sixth season in 2019.
Maisie said the album is her "(albeit not hugely long) life’s work" and "proudest achievement; it is my favourite album maybe ever and whilst I may be biased, I really hope it goes into the world and becomes lots of other people’s favourite too."
After gaining popularity on YouTube, Peters signed with Atlantic Records and released the extended plays Dressed Too Nice for a Jacket and It's Your Bed Babe, It's Your Funeral.
