Raised and based in Dublin, solo artist Nauria has been inspired since childhood by the likes of Michael Jackson, Shakira, Beyoncé, Fiona Apple, Kate Bush, Alicia Keys and Sade (to name a few).
Rising pop and alternative R&B singer Nauria has joined forces with Amsterdam-based Irish producer Kobina on a brand new track, titled 'Instinct'.
The chilled out electronic track focuses on the themes of uncertainty and a strong desire for reciprocated love. 'Instinct' was produced in 2020 by Kobina, who later sent the track to Nauria to add lyrics.
"I was going for the intrusive thoughts one has that leads to anxiety. I don't consider this a love song but more about someone in distress," Nauria tells Hot Press.
A music video for 'Instinct' directed by Sam Fallover is currently in the works, so stay tuned for more luscious, relatable songs from the talented singer-songwriter.
Nauria first entered talent shows as a teenager and later joined a group, 'Cycii and Enzii' - but the duo split in 2013 due to creative differences.

Not knowing how to be a solo artist and battling with depression, Nauria faced her fears, decided to gig and realised that she could do it alone. Having performed in Dublin's bar and pub scene, Nauria decided to leave Dublin for a sense of freedom and in 2014 she moved to Spain to see if her talent would touch people in a foreign country. The creative returned in 2015 to finish her studies and took a five year hiatus.
Coming back with a bang in 2021, the artist has been busy creating tracks that are now ready to be shared with the world - including 'Girlfriend Material' and 'Instinct'.
