A recording of a never-before released track recorded during the Jane's Addiction guitarist's time, 'Circle of the Noose', has surfaced online
A never-before heard Red Hot Chili Peppers track has surfaced online.
'Circle Of The Noose' was recorded shortly before Dave Navarro left the band after spending five years with them as John Frusciante replacement. The '97/'98 sessions with Navarro have never surfaced before but the Jane's Addiction man has mentioned them in the past.
Shortly after recording 'Circle of the Noose', Navarro left the band because of drug problems that meant he could no longer record with the rest of them. In a 1997 interview shortly after the recording of this track Navarro said, "One of the songs we’ve done is the greatest pop song I’ve ever been a part of..." Navarro continued by saying that "The best way I can describe it is it’s like pepped-up 60’s folk with 90’s ideals...”
