The Strokes' highly anticipated follow-up to 2013's Comedown Machine is out this week.
Ahead of the release of their Rick Rubin-produced album, The New Abnormal, this Friday, The Strokes have shared a new song, 'Brooklyn Bridge To Chorus'.
Earlier this year, The Strokes announced the release of their first album in seven years at a Bernie Sanders rally in New Hampshire. The New Abnormal follows 2013's Comedown Machine – which was described by Hot Press's Paul Nolan as an "impressive return to form".
"The NYC quintet appear to have found a new lease of life on their fifth album, Comedown Machine," he wrote, "a rather unusual mix of gaudy, synth-driven retro-future rockers, with echoes of Daft Punk and Kavinsky, and experimental downtempo efforts."
'Brooklyn Bridge To Chorus', follows The New Abnormal's previously released tracks 'Bad Decisions', 'At The Door', 'Ode to the Mets' and 'The Adults Are Talking'. Listen below:
