The Isley brothers have been making music singe the early '50s when they started as a gospel quartet. Since then they've produced tracks spanning traditional R&B, Motown, funk, and a sprinkling of doo wop.
Their song "Shout" is now a classic crowd-pleaser, destined to whip any crowd into a frenzy. During their 1964 tour they played with a young and yet undiscovered Jimi Hendrix who made his first recordings with The Isley Brothers.

Though the group has gone through lineup changes, genre changes, break-ups, and make-ups, they most recently reunited in 2017 to record with Carlos Santana. Last year, the band released the single 'Friends & Family' with Snoop Dog.
Their collaboration with Beyoncé will be their first project since then. Ronald Isley shared a teaser of the track on his Instagram leading up to the release date.
