The stunning and personal track is a heavy but brilliant listen.
Acclaimed UK rapper Little Simz has released a personal new track, 'I Love You, I Hate You'.
The fourth single taken from her upcoming album, Sometimes I Might Be Introvert, finds her discussing her family life.
Her lyrics, "You made a promise to God to be there for your kids, You made a promise to give them a life you didn’t live, My ego won’t fully allow me to say that I miss you, A woman who hasn’t confronted all her daddy issues" entail her relationship with her father.
The second record from the hip-hop artist is due to come out next week on July 16, with her looking to repeat the success of her debut GREY Area, for which she won the 2020 Ivor Novello Award for Best Album.
Little Simz previously spoke to Hot Press about her star turn acting in the Netflix crime drama, Top Boy.

"There was nothing like it on TV at the time," she says about the show's original run on Channel 4 before its recent rebirth. "Every conversation was, ‘Have you seen the new episodes?’ Nothing was representing our stories like Top Boy was."
