Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, AKA 21 Savage gives Longitude a rugged and spectacular performance.
Standing on stage as a solitary and commanding figure, the British-American rapper 21 Savage surveys the see of punters in front of him.
There's an intensity in his stage presence as the flaming pyrotechnics roar around the artist as he plays his single 'née-nah'.
The popular recorded version features Savage interlocking with Travis Scott and frequent collaborator Metro Boomin. However, Savage manages to fill the void in the track without his collaborators with a robust energy.

This same compelling aura occupies the entire main stage of Longitude throughout the artist's muscular set, which took place as dusk slowly faded over Marlay Park.
Another performance highlight came early on from the artist when he sang the more playful 'TOPIA TWINS'. Another single fronted by Savage and loaded with collaborators, the artist delivered a live version that was every bit as compelling as the studio version.
There were a few appearances from newer tunes from the artist's latest album SAVAGE MODE II including a dynamic rendition of 'Glock in My Lap'.
'Glock in My Lap' demonstrated the artist's capacity for overlaying as well as his signature panache, with a call and response coming from the swaying crowd.
The climax of Savage's performance, and indeed possibly the most scintillating part of the Sunday headliner's performance was when he addressed the crowd saying "Are you guys having a good time?"

To which the slew of fans responded with a resounding affirmation- this is when Savage decides to take it up a notch.
At this point the artist the artist unleashes his 'Redrum', which send the crowd into a mania.
A reference to the Shining, 'Redrum' features an almost gothic instrumental setting the murderous track which absolutely kills at the Longitude main stage.
The high point of the set proves to be 21 Savage's last song of the evening, much to the disappointment of the crowd- however, no one could say that the sensational closer did not leave fans both satisfied and yet still wanting more- the goal of every live performer.
21 Savage commandeered the main stage and made it his own; as any worthy headliner should.
