The new edition of the Hot Press Lockdown Sessions' Y&E Series continues tonight – supported by the Department of Media, Tourism, Arts, Culture, Sport and the Gaeltacht.
Poised for international stardom, Belfast-based artist Amy Montgomery has emerged as one of the country's most thrilling new talents. She released her latest single, 'Anywhere', last month.
Describing her music as "alt-rock inspired by experience, nature and search for truth", Montgomery says that there's "almost always a positive message" in her work.
Setting up her studio space for the Hot Press Lockdown Session, the singer-songwriter used her powerful voice to perfection throughout her set, playing three new tracks off her upcoming EP, Intangible.
Intangible is due to be released on November 20, and features the title track, her previous single 'Anywhere', latest single 'Old Photographs' and two more unreleased songs.
During her set, Montgomery performed 'Intangible', 'Constitution', 'Old Photographs', 'Tree Song', 'Anywhere' and 'Away For Free', with her trademark raw power and husky tone.

Michael Mormecha was there to assist her on guitar and harmonised her vocals, in what was a hugely impressive intimate gig for the Northern Irish artist posed for stardom.
