The 29-year-old singer had Irish fans hooked on his every word from start to finish.
After the success of his highly anticipated album, Love Sick, it was no surprise that American singer and rapper Don Toliver delivered a fantastic show last night in Dublin's 3Olympia. Getting the crowd going with every song being more energetic than the last, if you weren't a massive fan going into the gig you were certainly a huge one coming out.
Opening act, Tisakorean and Mighty Bay came together for their project Silly to get fans in the mood for the night ahead. The hip-hop duo didn't come empty-handed. They brought a Penneys bag full of props on the stage, including branded "silly" sunglasses, Ireland flags and a Halloween mask.
Fans in the front row certainly got their money's worth as the American rappers gave everything they brought to the audience including free t-shirts and even a pair of Nike Air Force.
If a supporting act's job is to hype up the crowd before the main event, it's safe to say the pair aced it.
After the energetic force of an opener, out came Don Toliver. From the moment he stepped foot on the stage, he had fans hooked. Opening with 'Private Landing' the singer oozed cool as he performed the hip-hop track. Never missing a beat the artist went from song to song with the crowd getting more excited as the show went on.
The American artist played a handful of popular tracks from his 2020 album, Heaven Or Hell, including 'Cardigan' and the viral 'No Idea'. During these older songs, Toliver could have stopped performing and let the fans take over as they knew every word.

He requested fans stick up their right middle fingers to join him for the epic track 'WHAT TO DO?' and they passionately abided. The artist exuded happiness as he enjoyed this moment with the crowd.
During 'Luckily I'm Having' you couldn't help but be mesmerised by the live guitar and keyboard players as they accompanied the singer the tune so smoothly.
The artist requested the fans "crank it up" before jumping into 'After Party' and I'm sure the roof nearly blew off the 3Olympia. He abruptly left the stage after that but it wasn't long until the crowd erupted into a chant-medley of "olé olé olé olé" and "one more tune." He ran back on stage to leave fans with 'Flocky Flocky' performing it with the same amount of energy as he did with his first song.
Although the set was on the shorter side, Toliver gave his all for every minute of it. He ended the night by thanking fans and expressing his appreciation for coming out to see him:
"I must say, I appreciate each and every last one of y'all who came to see me."
