Gemma Dunleavy performed a stellar set last night on the Hot Press Lockdown Sessions' Y&E Series, supported generously by the Department of Media, Tourism, Arts, Culture, Sport and the Gaeltacht.
Chatting amiably with her virtual audience and encouraging them to sing along, Gemma Dunleavy gave a delightful performance on the Hot Press Lockdown Sessions' Y&E Series last night.
Dunleavy was among the biggest breakout acts of 2020, and blew the Irish music community away back in July with the release of her powerful debut EP, Up De Flats – a celebration of her birthplace of Sherriff Street in Dublin.
Opening with her single 'Cruisin'' from her latest EP Up De Flats, Dunleavy then moved into a haunting cover of Kojaque and Kean Kavanagh's 'Eviction Notice'. Her bird, Charlo, could be heard in the background, and she brought him in for a little hello before signing off with 'Up De Flats'.
Watch the full performance back below, and check out the rest of our exciting line up for this week's Y&E Sessions.
